What is Cotto Paradore?

Cotto Paradore is a further developed form of terracotta.By rethinking the original composition and production process, a new variant has been created. This collection has exactly the same look and feel as traditional terracotta, while being equipped with all the modern properties required today.

Installation, maintenance products and advice

The subfloor must be dry and free of dust and grease. The subfloor may not contain more than 4% moisture. When the floor is installed outdoors or in a wet area, a slope must always be applied (1 to 2%) to allow water to drain away. Water that remains on the tile surface may cause staining or damage due to frost. When the tiles are used outdoors, the substructure must also be water-permeable. Always consult your contractor or tiler about this. The adhesive we recommend is Kiesel Servolight Supertec. Grout can be selected in a matching colour, or in white or silver grey. The recommended grout joint width is 2 to 3 mm.
Impregnation should be done using Lithofin Stain Stop W: one coat before grouting and one coat after grouting. Daily maintenance can be carried out using Lithofin Wash & Clean or green soap. Never use acidic cleaning agents such as all-purpose cleaners, limescale removers, anti-calc products or chlorine.
