Lavastone Countertops

Lavastone  is sourced from volcanoes located in the Massif Central area of France (Volvic).  Extracted from the quarries in blocks, it is then cut in to slabs in different thicknesses, 15mm – 20mm – 25mm and 30mm for standard slabs,  and bespoke thicknesses for bespoke projects…  Our workshop will then cut the slabs following your plan and glaze them to suit your interior.  A wide panel of colours  is available, and we are also very happy to do colour researches if you cannot find what you are looking for in the existing range.

Highly shock and heat resistant (you can place dishes directly out of the oven directly on to your worktop), easy to clean (very little grouting necessary), your unique kitchen will be as practical to use as fantastic to look at.  The same goes for the bathroom with vanity tops, bath surrounds and shower trays.

As lava is also frost resistant it is ideal for garden furniture such as table tops and barbecue surrounds and outside kitchens.

It goes without saying that we’ll always find a matching shade to go with our zelliges or glazed terracotta for the walls, and our cement tiles for the floor.
