Product description
Alhambra nr 04 Rouge Medaillon 10x10cm is a square tile made of high-quality clay material, suitable for both walls and floors. This zellige tile has a glazed finish, which gives it a rustic vintage look. What sets this tile apart is that it is handmade, making each piece unique. The Alhambra nr 04 Rouge Medaillon 10x10cm is specially designed for both indoor and outdoor use and is heat resistant, making it suitable for underfloor heating. With its authentic appearance, this tile adds a touch of vintage charm to any space.
Our Zelliges are made in Fez. This Moroccan city is the epic center of Zellige production. The workshop has been making Zelliges for 7 centuries. Authentic Zelliges can be recognized by the chiseled edges, a lightly glossy glaze sometimes with small imperfections, and a nuanced color palette - no tile is exactly the same. When the Zelliges are well mixed and placed, you get a color pattern that can never be achieved with ceramic tiles.
Placement of Zelliges
Due to the sharp edges, Zelliges can be placed with very narrow grout lines. The most beautiful result is actually without any grout lines at all. This is only possible with Zelliges of very high quality. Any skilled tile setter can install these tiles.
Laying and Maintenance Products
Zelliges do not require much maintenance. Occasionally, a cleaning with our Wash and Clean from Lithofin or simply water with green soap is sufficient.
Ordering, Delivery, and Shipping
From our extensive stock, we can deliver anywhere in Europe within 4 to 5 working days. One of our strengths, however, is custom project work, in which case delivery times and shipping are always discussed. Normally, we deliver with reputable carriers, but you can also pick up the tiles yourself at our warehouse in Alkmaar or our showroom in Breda. Returning tiles is always in full undamaged boxes and at your own expense.
Ordering Samples
To get a good idea of our products, we always recommend ordering a few examples/samples through our webshop in advance. The sample costs will, of course, be deducted from any eventual order.
